AxioVision 4 Module Z-Stack Module for the acquisition of Z-stacks using a motorized focus drive
- Integrated Z-drive backlash compensation for optimum precision and reproducibility
- Definition of the Z-stack in 2 modes: "Start/Stop" and "Center"
- Automatic adjustment of minimum step size to type of microscope
- "Optimal distance" button automatically adjusts step size between planes to fit the axial sampling rate to the Nyquist criterion (recommended for 3D Deconvolution)
- Alternative "all channels per slice" mode for even higher axial precision
- Hardware control by assignment of Hardware Settings "Before..." and "After Z-Stack acquisition"
- "center plane only" mode allows mixed acquisition of Z-Stacks and single plane channels (e.g. when combining Z-Stacks for fluorescence channels with a single plane in phase contrast
- Z-Stack navigation control (center, start, stop and stepwise)
- Experimental setup can be stored as Experiment for repeated acquisitions
- ReUse functionality to extract experimental conditions from acquired images
