AxioVision 4 Module Inside4D

AxioVision 4 Module Inside4D AxioVision module for the visualization of AxioVision 3D Image stacks.
- Displays multidimensional AxioVision Z-Stack images as 3D volumes, especially images processed by the module 3D-Deconvolution or ApoTome
- Z-Stack images capable of up to 8 channels and time lapse images (for acquisition of such images, additional modules are required)
- Four rendering methods can be used: shadow, transparency, surface, maximum projection
- Mixed mode rendering for combination of transparency and surface rendering
- Gallery mode for Surface rendering allows comparison of multiple channels
- Anaglyphic stereo view (surface and transparency mode; requires red-green glasses)
- Combination of space with time ("4D-Rendering")
- 3D-volume can be spatially oriented using jog dial wheels or by direct interaction using the computer mouse
- Lateral shifting of image volumes ("pan & scan" mode)
- Free choice of zoom factor
- Fly through mode allows flying through volumes for movie creation
- Flexible channel combinations and switching between monochrome channel or colour merge display
- Free and continuous animation of the rendered volume by simple "pushing" action using the mouse
- Image annotation with volume frame, colour coded XYZ-axis and scaling axis
- Creation of single images of one view
- Creation of smooth animated image series (including specific start- and end positions, zoom factor, time point, spatial coordinates, clipping planes)
- Export of render series as movies for presentations (e.g. for use in Microsoft PowerPoint)
- Export of images and animations in various graphics formats (TIF, BMP, JPG, AVI, MOV, PSD, PNG etc.)
- Extensive control over settings influencing image quality such as threshold, lighting, rendering algorithms, projection angles, z-scaling etc.
- All settings influencing the rendering methods can be saved and reused for other images
- User controlled data reduction for increased display speed for all rendering modes
- Up to three clipping planes with multiple display options can be used in orthogonal or oblique orientation for display enhancement and data analysis in surface and transparency modes
- Clipping planes act in a channel specific manner (surface mode only)
- Interactive measurement option for euclidian 3D-distance measurements using line-, polygon- and multi-distance-star tool; measurement of number of events and angles
- Export of measurement values as data table (CSV or in Excel 2003 XML format)
- Fast rendering due to support of Open GL based 3D acceleration boards (not for shadow projection mode)
